Our team also includes specialists with deep expertise in industry safety standards such as BARS, IOGP, IATA, and IOSA, providing clients with accredited or qualified advisory support tailored to their operational context. This capability allows us to guide organisations through conformity, oversight, and continuous‑improvement processes with the assurance of recognised competence.
In addition, we are developing our own dedicated safety standard for helicopter aerial work and firefighting operations — Safe‑R — a framework built on the extensive, industry‑wide experience of the professionals behind it, designed to offer a practical, modern, and mission‑focused approach to operational safety.
Emanuele Papa
Founder and Lead Advisor
Emanuele Papa is the owner and founder of EPAero, an aviation professional with extensive experience in operations, safety management, regulatory compliance, and helicopter flight operations. His background spans OCC, CAMO, quality auditing, and international mission coordination, supported by recognised expertise in geophysical survey, Oil & Gas on‑shore operations, and industry standards such as BARS, IOGP, IAGSA, IATA, and IOSA.
A commercial helicopter pilot and approved BARS auditor, he combines operational insight with strong competencies in safety leadership and organisational oversight.
Emanuele also contributes to the training ecosystem as a Quality Manager and instructor, and is an active member of Flight Safety Foundation, Safe‑IT and Safe‑EU, EASA ESPN-R, VAST, reflecting his commitment to advancing safety practices across the aviation sector.
